Did you know Utah’s Move Over Law has been in place for 20 years? in 2021 we had 26 troopers’ vehicles hit while on the shoulder performing their duties. Nationally there were 65 first responders fatally struck in 2021.
To assist the Utah Department of Public Safety with raising awareness we have started our “Slow Down-Move Over” education initiative. We do this through our static display of an actual patrol vehicle that was struck on the roadside.
